The GFA Global Fastener Alliance was founded in 1998 as a global network of independent suppliers of engineered, high quality fasteners. The GFA was created in response to the globalization drive of the automotive industry and other large industrial users of fasteners.

Today, the GFA consists of seven member companies, located in Europe, North and South America as well as Asia.

The GFA members represent a combined sales volume of one billion US$ and a total employment of 5000 people.
